Keeping your files organized in BioRender is essential for easy access and workflow efficiency. Folders allow you to structure your illustrations neatly within the Gallery, ensuring you can quickly find and manage your projects.

Creating a folder in BioRender

Follow these steps to create a new folder:

  1. Open the Gallery – Navigate to the Gallery in BioRender.
  2. Click ‘Create Folder’ – In the left-hand menu, select the Create Folder button.
  3. Name Your Folder – Enter a name for your folder in the folder name field.
  4. Save the Folder – Click Save to create the folder.

Organizing files in folders

  • Drag and drop files into folders for easy organization.
  • When creating a new illustration within a specific folder, it will automatically be saved in that folder instead of the general Gallery.
  • Any folders you create will appear in the left toolbar when viewing your BioRender Gallery, making navigation easier.
