How to name a file

Naming files in BioRender is great for efficient organization and collaboration. A descriptive file name improves search-ability and enables collaborators to quickly locate, share, and present files with clarity and precision. 

There are two ways you can name your files:

1. Naming a File from your Gallery 
2. Naming a File from your Illustrator

Naming a File from your Gallery 

1. Navigate to your Gallery 
2. Right-click on the 3 Dots (...) located at the bottom of the preview of your file.
3. Select “Rename” 
4. A screen will pop up where you can rename your file. 

Naming a File from your Illustrator

1. Open the file you would like to Name.
2. To the right of your “Gallery” tab, click “Untitled” 
3. Rename the file to the desired name.
