Deactivation vs. deletion: What's the difference?
Deactivation:

- Your account email address will be removed from our mailing list.
- Your data will be retained, so you can pick up where you left off if you choose to return.
Deletion:
- Your account will be permanently deleted.
- Your account email address will be removed from our mailing list.
- All files and account details will be permanently removed.
- This action is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered, and all your data will be permanently removed.
Steps to deactivate your account
- Send an email to our support team (support@biorender.com) from the email address associated with your BioRender account.
- Include a request for account deactivation and the reason you are seeking to deactivate your account.
- Our team will process your request and confirm once the account has been deactivated.
Steps to delete your account

- Include a request for account deletion and the reason you are seeking to deactivate your account.
If you're unsure about leaving, you can simply keep your BioRender account active as a free account. Many users appreciate having continued access, knowing their files remain safely stored and ready whenever inspiration strikes again.
