Managing Subscriptions

Current Personal Subscriptions: Members with existing personal BioRender subscriptions can cancel their subscription by heading to the Plan & Billing tab in their BioRender account. This will prevent them from being billed for their personal subscriptions.

Support: Advise any members who already have been added to the your organization's license and have time left on their billing cycle, to contact our Support team (support@biorender.com). Our support team will cancel their personal subscriptions and process refunds for any overlapping subscription periods. You can provide them with the necessary contact information and support resources such as this article to facilitate this process.

Maintaining Files
- File Retention: Ensure that your members understand their files will remain intact during the transition, as long as their existing account has been added to the license.
- Updating Email Addresses: If members need to update their email addresses to reflect institutional credentials, guide them through the process outlined in this support article. Their files are tied to their account, changing their email address from within the app will not affect their files.
- Files for pre-existing accounts: If an individual joins a license through signing up, their pre-existing account's files will not be present. It is best to add pre-existing accounts where possible.
