How to change the email address of your BioRender account

You can change the email address associated with your BioRender account at any time from your Account page:

  1. Click your name in the top-right corner, then click Edit profile and settings.
  2. Navigate to the Profile tab. In the Email field, enter your new email, then click Save Changes in the upper right-hand corner.
  3. An email verification link will be sent to your new email address. Click the link to verify your new login information.

  • Why am I receiving an error message when I try to update my email address?

If you're receiving an error message while attempting to update your email address (let's call this email A), it might be because email B (the email you want to switch to) is already associated with an existing account. You can Here’s how you can resolve the issue:

  1. Log in with Email B: Try logging into the account that uses email B.
  2. Forgot Your Password? If you can’t remember the password for email B, reset the password and log in.
  3. Change Email for Email B Account: Once you're logged in with email B, update the email for that account to a new personal email (let's call it email C).
  4. Update Email for Email A Account: After completing the above step, sign back into email A. You should now be able to update email A to email B.
