Pre-requisites
Before sharing BioRender illustrations in Microsoft Teams, please ensure the following:

Access to a BioRender Enterprise license
- Make sure you have access to BioRender’s top industry plan.
- You can locate your plan information by navigating to your Plan & Billing tab. Alternatively you can click on your name on the upper right hand corner in the app, go to Edit Profile & Settings and then select the Plan & Billing tab .

BioRender App Installed in Microsoft Teams
- The BioRender app must be installed into your Microsoft Teams environment. You can verify this by checking your Teams apps or asking your admin if necessary.
- If the BioRender app is not pre-approved by your IT admin, you can share our white paper along with your request to use the app.
Step-by-Step Guide

Open BioRender and Select a Design
Navigate to the file you want to share.

Copy the URL or shareable link
- When you are in the editor, you can copy the URL of your file from your browser for quicker access to the link.
- Additionally, you can click on the Share button in BioRender, and select Copy Link to get the shareable link of the illustration.

Go to Microsoft Teams
Open Microsoft Teams and navigate to the chat where you want to share the BioRender file. -
Paste the Link in the Teams Chat
Paste the copied BioRender link into the message input field in Teams. Wait for the preview to automatically appear. -
Sign In if Prompted
If you see a message that says you are unauthorized to view the content, click on Sign in to view card content. You will be redirected to a screen where you need to enter your organization’s name ID and once you complete the authentication, the link should work properly.- To locate your organizations name id, go to your Profile, your Organization name ID will be found on the bottom of your profile page.
- If you do not have your organization name ID in your profile, you will need to upgrade your plan to an Enterprise license.

Post the Link
After the preview appears, press Enter or click the Send button to post the message in the Teams chat.

View and Collaborate on BioRender Files
