If you notice that some objects in your illustration appear blurry while working in BioRender, don’t worry! This is a temporary reduction in quality designed to improve app performance, especially when dealing with a large number of objects on the canvas, such as icons, images, or text.
Why does this happen?

To enhance performance, BioRender may lower the display quality when handling complex illustrations.

This does not affect the final export quality.
How to check and fix blurry illustrations

Use the preview function

You can check the final export quality anytime by selecting Preview from the top menu.

Test export quality

Export quality should not be affected on any of our paid plans.

If your illustration still appears blurry after export, proceed to the next step.

Troubleshooting blurry exports

Ensure you are using a paid plan, as export quality is guaranteed at higher resolutions.

Try exporting in different formats (PNG, JPEG, PDF) to check for any improvements.
