The BioRender PowerPoint (PPT) add-in includes a "Create New File" feature, enabling you to quickly start a new Illustration, Poster, or Graph directly from PowerPoint.
Steps to create a new file
1. Open the PPT Add-In
- Ensure you have the BioRender add-in installed and open in your PowerPoint application.
2. Locate the "Create New File" Button
- In the BioRender add-in side panel, find the "Create New File" button.
3. Select File Type
- Click the "Create New" dropdown menu.
- Choose the type of file you want to create:
- Illustration
- Poster
- Graph
4. Redirect to BioRender
- After selecting the file type, you’ll be redirected to a new file in the BioRender app within your browser.
5. Start Creating
- The BioRender editor will open, allowing you to begin your new project seamlessly.
Troubleshooting
If you experience issues while using the "Create New File" feature, consider the following:
- Ensure the BioRender add-in is properly installed and updated.
- Check your internet connection, as redirection to BioRender requires an active connection.
- If the add-in panel is not displaying correctly, try restarting PowerPoint.
