Once your graph is ready, BioRender Graphing makes it easy to drop it directly into your presentation - and keep it up to date as your data changes. Present results you're proud to share: deliver clear, presentation and publication-ready visuals that make your insights easy to understand and trust across presentations, publications, and reviews.

In this article, we'll cover how to:

  • Customize your graph's appearance
  • Apply consistent styles across multiple graphs with Style Match
  • Use graphs in BioRender illustrations and posters
  • Copy and paste graphs into your presentation
  • Insert graphs into PowerPoint or Google Slides

Customizing your graph’s appearance

After clicking Continue, the customization panel opens on the right side of the screen. Live-edit colors, labels, scales, groupings, and axes at any time without starting over.

Settings are organized into sections:

Display data (shown first - this is the most commonly needed setting)

  • Choose what to plot: mean with standard deviation, mean with SEM, etc.

Toggle Show individual data points on or off.

  • Color and font
  • Adjust graph colors, font styles, and sizes.

Additional settings

  • Access more advanced options for axis formatting, spacing, and lines.

💡 Tip: You must confirm or save your graph details before you can run a new statistical analysis or customize your graph. If the Run Analysis button appears unresponsive, check whether the graph details panel is still open in edit mode - close or confirm it first.

Apply consistent styles with Style Match

Use Style Match to apply the same style across multiple graphs in a few clicks. This feature can be used directly from Graph Grid View without opening individual graphs.

  1. Select the graph whose style you want to copy
  2. Click Style Match → Copy style
  3. Select one or more target graphs
  4. Click Paste style
  5. The selected Graphs will match the style of your initial chosen graph.

Choose which properties to apply:

  • Graph styling (on by default): colors, spacing, lines, fonts
  • Statistics markings (on by default): pairwise comparisons, best-fit lines
  • Graph size and dimensions: useful for consistent panel figures
  • Axis range and scale: useful for log scales or custom tick spacing
