Please note, this feature is only available in the new canvas.
How to add and manage hyperlinks
To paste a link into an existing textbox:
- Select any span of text inside a text box on your canvas.
- In the floating context menu, click the "Link " icon 🔗.
- Enter or paste a valid URL in the link field.
- Click "Apply" to link the selected text.
- To add multiple links, repeat the process for additional spans of text in the same text box.
- Hover over any linked text to preview, edit, or navigate to the link.
To paste a new hyperlink directly onto the canvas:
- Copy a URL from the address bar.
- Right-click anywhere on the canvas and paste. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Cmd+/Ctrl+V
- The URL will automatically convert into a linked text object.
Frequently asked questions
Why can’t I add links?
- Ensure you're working in Editor 3.0. Hyperlinking is only supported in this version.
I pasted a URL and it didn't auto-link
- Make sure you're pasting directly onto the canvas, not inside a non-text object or unsupported element.
