Tips for effective file naming

  • Use clear and specific names (e.g., “Cell_Signaling_Pathway_v2”)
  • Avoid vague names like “Untitled” or “Figure1”
  • Use underscores (_) or dashes (-) instead of spaces for compatibility
  • Include version numbers or dates for version tracking (e.g., “Lung_Diagram_2024_08”)

AI-generated titles and descriptions (NarrateAI)

When a figure is left untitled, NarrateAI now prompts you to generate a relevant title. This helps streamline organization and ensures your files remain easily identifiable.

When you submit an illustration to the community template gallery, the system will also auto-generate a suggested title and description based on the content of the figure.

  • You can freely edit or replace the suggested text to better fit your intent.

  • This feature enhances discoverability and sharing across the BioRender community.
