Creating a new illustration

Creating a new illustration in BioRender is quick and intuitive. You can start from a blank canvas, set the dimensions of your image, and dive straight into designing with access to the full BioRender icon library. This guide walks you through starting a new project from scratch.

Create a new illustration

1. Log in to your BioRender account.
2. From the Gallery view, click New file.
3. Select Illustration as your file type.
4. Give your file a clear, descriptive name.
5. Start creating your figure by searching or browsing the BioRender icon library.

• Choose a meaningful file name to improve organization and searchability.
