How to manage organization settings for sharing control in BioRender

This guide explains how organization admins can utilize the new settings for sharing control and notifications in the BioRender admin panel. These updates enhance collaboration and prevent the unintentional sharing of confidential content, making it easier to manage member access and notifications.

How to access your organization settings tab

1. Ensure you are an Admin of an Enterprise or Academic Institution organization.
   • Please note: Team organizations do not have access to Org Settings.
2. Method 1: Direct URL Access
   • Go to https://app.biorender.com/account/org-settings.
3. Method 2: Through the Admin Tab
   • Click your profile avatar in the top-right corner of the BioRender app.
   • Select “Admin” from the dropdown.
   • In the Admin view, click “Settings” in the left-hand navigation (below Account Overview & Users).

Sharing content with users within your organization

1. Click the “Organization-wide sharing” section in the Settings page.
2. In the modal that appears, select one of the radio buttons:
   • Off – Disables sharing.
   • Enable organization-wide sharing for all users – Allows users to share their content with others within the organization
3. Click “Save changes” to apply the setting.

Sharing content with users outside your organization

1. Click the “External sharing” section in the Settings page.
2. In the modal that appears, select one of the radio buttons:
   • Off – Disables sharing.
   • Enable sharing with anyone – Allows users to share their content with anybody.
   • Enable sharing with specified regex only - Allows users to only share content with users with specific email domain regex. To update this
