We understand that a credit card may not be available for you. We’re happy to provide an invoice to be paid by wire transfer for your BioRender Premium purchase!
This process will follow the same procedure as purchasing with a Purchase Order (PO).
Purchasing via invoice or wire transfer requires manual processing by our team, and as a result, it is only possible to make such payments for annual subscriptions.
Steps to purchase with a wire or bank transfer
1. Verify eligibility to pay by invoice:

- 1 or more Academic Individual subscriptions
- 1 or more Academic Lab subscriptions
- 1 or more Industry Individual license
- 1 or more Industry Team subscriptions
Note: Monthly and student subscriptions (Undergraduate, Graduate, or Postdoc) require payment by credit card only. For guidance on credit card payments, refer to our article on how to upgrade your account.
2. Prepare the required information for submission
- Contact BioRender Support at support@biorender.com or via live chat.
- Provide the following details:
- The end-user's email address (PI/admin if for a Lab subscription)
- Institution/Organization Name
- Billing Contact Name & Email
- Billing Address
- Tax/VAT ID (if applicable)
- Subscription Plan & Number of Seats
- Purchase Order (PO) Number (if applicable)
- Include your tax exemption certificate if applicable
- Our team will generate an invoice and send it to the provided billing email.
- Payment must be completed via wire transfer or bank transfer (only available for annual invoices).
Once payment is processed, your subscription will be activated or renewed accordingly. The primary license holder must have a BioRender account, or create one, before we can process the Premium upgrade.
