Can I use my BioRender figures in a textbook? (👑 Premium Only)

BioRender looks great on print too!

If you will be publishing your figures in a textbook, we require a paid subscription for this purpose. The type of subscription is dependent on the number of figures being included as well as whether you will be gaining a profit or not. If you want to publish more than 15 figures, there will be an additional per-figure cost.

Non-Profit

If you will not be gaining any profit from your textbook publication, the following subscription types can be used without incurring additional charges:

• If you will be publishing 5 or less figures, we require an Academic Individual, Student, or Postdoc Plan
• If you will be publishing 5 to 15 figures, we require the Academic Lab or the Annual Industry Plan
• Members of an institutional license can publish up to 15 figures

If you will be publishing more than 15 figures, the price breakdown for additional figures is as follows:

• Figures 15-49: $29.00USD/figure
• Figures 50-99: $25.00USD/figure
• Figures 100-249: $25.00USD/figure
• Figures 250-499: $25.00USD/figure
• Figures 500-999: $25.00USD/figure
• Figures 1000+: $25.00USD/figure

For-Profit

An Annual Industry Individual Lite Plan allows you to publish up to 15 figures in a for-profit textbook without incurring additional charges. The price breakdown for additional figures is as follows:

• Figures 15 - 49: $60.00USD/figure
• Figures 50 - 99: $50.00USD/figure
• Figures 100 - 249: $39.00USD/figure
• Figures 250 - 499: $35.00USD/figure
• Figures 500 - 999: $31.00USD/figure
• Figures 1000+: $28.00USD/figure
