Eligibility for the Academic Individual subscription

The Academic Individual subscription is available to scientists associated with:

  • Universities
  • Research Institutes
  • NGOs and Government Non-Profits

Upon subscribing, you will have a unique login that provides access to your personal account. If you haven’t yet created a free account, click here to sign up. This plan is intended for single-user access only.

BioRender Academic Individual Subscription is available in two billing cycles:

Annually: $420.00 USD/year

Monthly: $47.00 USD/month

  • Can I purchase a subscription for one month?

Yes, monthly billing is available.

  • How can I obtain a quote for a monthly Academic Individual Plan?

We only offer quotes for plans on an annual billing interval.

  • Can I switch billing cycles if I selected the wrong one?

  • Where can I publish my illustrations?

BioRender figures can be used in journals, conference talks, lectures, and educational websites under the Academic Individual subscription. For textbooks, non-profit publishing is permitted for up to 5 figures.

  • How many users can access an Academic Individual plan?

This subscription is for a single user with unique credentials.

  • Can I purchase multiple Individual subscriptions?

If you need more than 4 Individual Subscriptions, we suggest looking into The Academic Lab Plan. This plan provides a discounted price for larger groups and includes one PI and four lab members.
