BioRender's Poster Builder allows you to design visually appealing posters with ease. Follow the steps below to create and customize a poster that fits your needs.
Accessing the Poster Builder
- In the Gallery view, click "Create New File".
- Select "Poster Builder" from the available options.
Choosing a template and color theme
Once inside the Poster Builder, you can choose from a selection of pre-made templates or start from scratch.
- Templates Available: BioRender offers a variety of scientific poster layouts, including options for conference presentations, research posters, and lab report formats.
- Color Themes: Select a cohesive color scheme that aligns with your branding or personal preference. You can change this later in the customization phase.
Starting from scratch
If you prefer to create a poster from a blank canvas:
- Click the X in the upper-right corner of the template selection window to proceed without a template.
- Adjust your layout, sections, and design elements manually.
Customizing your poster
After selecting a template (or starting from scratch), you can modify various elements to personalize your poster:
- Adjust Layout: Resize sections, rearrange elements, and add new content blocks.
- Modify Colors and Fonts: Customize colors and typography to enhance readability and consistency.
- Insert Images and Icons: Use BioRender’s icon library to enrich your poster with scientific visuals.
