Adding content

  • Drag and drop content from the left Insert Content panel.

  • Structure your poster with Titles and Sections. Images, headers, spacers, and captions can be added into existing titles and sections.

Types of content

Titles

  • All posters will have a title by default.

  • When a title spans the full width or full height of a poster, its background fill color will be flush with the poster edge.

  • Titles can be moved anywhere in the poster. If you move a title, everything in the title will move along with it.

  • If you accidentally delete the title, you can add one back in by dragging and dropping from the Insert Content panel

  • To add logos to the title, add an image block from the Insert Content panel, then select a logo from your uploads.

Font size recommendations (based on a 48” x 36” poster):

  • Title: 96pt or above

  • Section Headers: 48pt or above

  • Body Text: 28-36pt

  • Figure Captions: 18-28pt

  • References & less important text: 18-22pt

Sections

Sections are used to group text, images, and headers together. Common sections are Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusion, and Acknowledgements.

  • Sections can be moved anywhere in the poster. If you move a section, everything in the section will move along with it.

  • When sections are moved around the poster, other sections will automatically resize to accommodate—you’ll never have to worry about content in your poster going off the canvas.

  • To add a new section, drag and drop from the Insert Content panel on the left.

Text boxes

  • Select a text box to edit its appearance settings.

  • Text box sizes do not change based on how much text there is. To resize a text box, hover in the space around the box and drag the blue lines.
