To publish a BioRender figure:
The first author or one of the co-first-authors of the publication should have a paid subscription. This helps ensure that the first author(s) have full copyright ownership of the figures and there are no figure copyright ownership issues when publishing.
The figure is exported with a paid subscription, with an associated publication license.
Citation of "Created with BioRender.com" anywhere in the publication.
The last author of the paper is not required to have a license.
