Using BioRender slides (πŸ‘‘ Premium only)

BioRender Slides allow you to create slide-based presentations directly within the BioRender editor - no need to switch between apps. With an intuitive interface, Slides are ideal for building scientific presentations, showcasing data, or organizing multi-step visuals.

Get started with Slides

  1. Sign in to your BioRender account.
  2. Choose to create a new illustration.
  3. In the editor, click the show slides button to open the slides panel.
  4. With the slides panel open, you can:
    • Add, title, and rearrange slides
    • Use backward and forward arrows to navigate between slides
  5. You can also duplicate or erase slides directly within the slides panel.
  6. To further customize slides, use the context menu:
    • On Mac: command + click
    • On Windows: ctrl + click
    • Or simply right click

Export Slides as a PDF

  1. Click the export button in the top-right corner of the interface.
  2. Select your preferred export settings to save your slides as a PDF document.

Identify files that use Slides

  • In your project preview, look for the multi-canvas icon to identify which files contain slide decks.

To present your Slides

  • Click present to view your slides in full-screen mode.
  • Navigate between slides by: Using arrow keys on your keyboard or clicking the screen to advance
  • Press escape to exit full-screen view.
