How to publish a figure as a BioRender template?

Publish your work on your portfolio for others to see what you've done!

This feature is currently in beta testing and is not available to all users.

If you have published a template to your profile but it has not yet been reviewed by our team, it can only be view within your profile. Once the template has been reviewed by our team it will then appear in the Community Template pages and be searchable by other users.

Publish your figure as a BioRender Template

From templates gallery

  1. Go to BioRender Templates page

  2. Click “Submit a template

  3. Click “Continue” on information modal

  4. Select a file and add details

  5. Agree to terms and conditions

  6. Figure is published as template on public portfolio & sent for review to our team

  7. An email will be sent to you with next steps and updates on the review.

From portfolio

(This feature is in beta testing and is not available to all users)

  1. Go to public portfolio

  2. Select "Add Template"

  3. Click “Continue” on information modal

  4. Select a file and add details

  5. Agree to terms and conditions

  6. Figure is published as template on public portfolio & sent for review to our team

  7. An email will be sent to you with next steps and updates on the review.

From sharing a template

(This feature is in beta testing and is not available to all users)

  1. When you go to share a template you will also have the option to publish it to your portfolio

  2. Select "Add to portfolio"

  3. Click “Continue” on information modal

  4. Select a file and add details

  5. Agree to terms and conditions

  6. Figure is published as template on public portfolio & sent for review to our team

  7. An email will be sent to you with next steps and updates on the review.
