Setting the pause

You can skip a month of your subscription. This action will pause your subscription for one billing cycle, and this action can be applied up to three times during your monthly subscription.

  1. Go to your BioRender account settings by clicking on your name in the top-right corner. Select "Edit profile & settings" from the drop-down menu.

  2. Select “Plan & Billing” on the left column.

3. Under the section titled “Your Plan,” click the white "Manage Plan" button.

4. Click "Skip a month" on the Manage your plan page.

5. Scroll down to the bottom of the User, are you sure? page and click the blue “Continue to skip a month” button.

6. Click the red “Skip a month” button on the bottom of the Ok, let’s skip a month of Premium page.

7. Close the window confirming when your pause will begin.

You can continue to use Premium features until the end of the current billing cycle.

Please see the video below for a walkthrough of setting a pause. This video does not have audio.

This video was created on 17 November 2023. Please note that the pause was applied to the upcoming billing cycle, from 17 December 2023 to 17 January 2024, and not the current billing cycle. This user will continue to have Premium access until 17 December 2023, and their monthly subscription will resume on 17 January 2024.

During the pause

- Your account will be downgraded to BioRender Basic.

- You will have access to your five most recent illustrations, while the rest remain locked until the pause ends.

After the pause

- Your subscription will automatically resume.

- Your account will be re-upgraded to Premium.

- The credit card on file will be charged.

If you do not intend to use your subscription after the current billing cycle, please check out our cancelation guide.
