What is an Enterprise Premium Trial?

An Enterprise Premium Trial lets eligible Industry users try BioRender’s Premium Enterprise features at no cost for a limited period. During the trial, you gain access to the full suite of professional tools. This allows you to test the platform’s capabilities before requesting a full license.

How to activate your Enterprise Premium Trial

  1. Log in to your BioRender account.
  2. If eligible, you will be directed to a portal page on login. Use that portal to upgrade your account to Premium Enterprise.
  3. Begin using Premium Enterprise features immediately:
    • Advanced export and file formats
    • Exclusive templates with icon libraries
    • Collaboration tools for team sharing

  4. Monitor your trial status through the in-app banner with countdown timer.
  5. Request a full license seat at any time during your trial by following the prompts.

When the Enterprise Premium Trial ends:

  • If you upgrade, your new license continues without interruption.
  • If you do not upgrade, your account will be deactivated. You will no longer be able to log in. You will receive instructions to request a seat.

Eligibility & trial limits

  • Each eligible user may activate one Enterprise Premium Trial.
  • Once your trial ends, a 12-month cooldown period applies before you can start another.
  • Eligibility is evaluated automatically when you log in.
  • Trials are user-specific. You cannot share a trial across multiple team members.

Why was I selected for this Enterprise Premium Trial?
Enterprise Premium supports advanced workflows used by industry scientists. The trial gives you the chance to experience these features firsthand before deciding to upgrade.

Why am I not getting upgraded upon login?
You may not meet the eligibility criteria for an Enterprise Premium Trial. Please contact our team at support@biorender.com if you believe you should be eligible.

Can I share my Enterprise Premium Trial with team members?
No. Each user must log in separately. Each user is evaluated individually for trial eligibility.

What happens to my saved figures or projects?
After your Enterprise Premium Trial, continued access to BioRender is only available through our Premium plans. Your files remain safe. You cannot log in or access your account without upgrading.

What if I need a few more days after my trial ends? Can I get an extension?
We understand that in some cases an extension is necessary. We will handle this on a case by case basis. If you need a small extension of access after your trial ends, reach out to our support@biorender.com team and we will assess your case.

Will my organization get billed at the end of this trial?
Your organization will only be billed if you choose to upgrade to a Premium license.
