Org custom libraries: Discover your organization's content in BioRender

This feature is currently available only for Enterprise Industry customers.

Creating high-quality scientific figures requires consistency and efficiency. Now, with exclusive templates, your organization can streamline figure creation, improve collaboration, and ensure standardized communication across teams.

This update empowers members to create, share, and manage their templates within their organization, making it easier to reuse designs and maintain a cohesive visual style.

This guide shows you how to share your work as a template, helping your team build a library of professional, organization-approved designs.

How to guide

How to share your work as a template in your organization

1. Access the "Share as Template" option

• You can share your work as a template from two locations:
  • Select "Share as Template" in the dropdown menu.

• • Select the blue Share button and click "Share as Template". Both options will open a form with the file and title fields automatically pre-filled.

2. Adding a category

• You can then categorize your template by choosing from existing categories or creating a new category. You can add up to three categories to a template for better organization.

3. Optional description

• Add a description to help give more context to what your template could be used for.

5. Confirm and share

• Click "Share Template", and the template will be added to your organization's centralized workspace.

Alternative ways to share a template

• You can also share a template directly from the Gallery View.
• In this view, the file name and title will also be pre-filled, and you can add categories before sharing.

Where to find shared templates

• Navigate to your organization's centralized workspace by clicking the tab with your organization's name. This section contains all submitted templates and BioRender resources within the organization.
• In this section, you can:
  • View templates submitted by different users
  • View the author of each template
  • View categories assigned to each template
  • Submit new templates
