How do I change the premium plan I'm on?

Reasons you might want to change your plan type and how to go about updating it.

To change from monthly to annual billing:

  1. Click on your name in the top right corner, then Edit profile & settings

  2. Click on Plan & Billing on the left-hand side

  3. Click on Switch billing cycle and follow the prompts as shown below. Your credit card on file will be automatically charged the prorated amount for the upgrade.

    NOTE: If you need to update the credit card to be charged, kindly update your card information before switching the billing cycle. Here's how you can update your credit card information.

To upgrade from an Individual to a Lab plan:

  1. Click on your name in the top right corner, then Edit profile & settings

  2. Click on Plan & Billing on the left-hand side

  3. Click on Switch to team plan and follow the prompts as shown below. You will be automatically charged a prorated charge for the upgrade.

    NOTE: If you need to update the credit card to be charged, kindly update your card information before switching your plan. Here's how you can update your credit card information.

  • If you moved from academia to industry, or vice versa

  • If your organization purchased a site-wide license and you no longer require your individual plan. See this article.
