Curved text is a powerful visual tool in scientific illustrations. It allows labels to follow the natural contours of structures such as cells, organelles, or molecular pathways. This enhances clarity, accuracy, and the overall visual flow of your figure.
How to apply curved text
Follow these steps to curve your text in BioRender:
- Select your text Click on the text box you want to modify.
- Open the curve tool A side toolbar will appear on the left-hand side. Select the "Circular" option.
3. Adjust the curve Once the curve is applied, you can fine-tune it in two ways:
- Manually curve the text box itself by dragging the handles.
- Use the “Curve amount” slider in the left-hand toolbar to control the intensity of the curve.
Your text will now follow a circular or curved path to better fit your design.
