When requesting a custom icon, please list the main visual characteristics of the desired icon in the Key Features field of the Icon Request Form.
Our Science Illustrators will create an icon that is accurate to the most recent scientific literature. However, we need your guidance to ensure that we create an icon that fits your unique needs.
In general, we’re interested in the following key features:
- Does this icon need to show specific characteristics? Why?
- Can or should some characteristics be left out? Why?
