BioRender is an online tool, meaning it can be accessed on any laptop or computer with an internet connection. There is no downloadable version, or client required. Each user of BioRender is required to have an account unique to them, and sharing accounts is against our terms and conditions.
In terms of our servers, we use Amazon Web Services, commonly reffered to as AWS 🌐 AWS provides services from dozens of data centers spread across availability zones (AZs) in regions across the world. An AZ is a location that contains multiple physical data centers. A region is a collection of AZs in geographic proximity connected by low-latency network links.
