We offer several Student plans tailored to different needs, providing discounted access to BioRender Premium and ensuring students can create professional-grade scientific illustrations with ease. Our Premium Student Subscriptions offer discounted access to BioRender Premium, specifically designed for students to create professional-grade scientific illustrations.

Available student subscriptions

We currently offer the following student subscriptions:

  • Undergraduate Subscription – Ideal for undergraduate students requiring access to BioRender’s premium features.

  • Student Subscription – Designed for graduate students who need advanced tools for research and publication.

  • Postdoc Subscription – Geared toward postdoctoral researchers working in universities, research institutes, and NGOs/government non-profits.

Each plan provides discounted access to BioRender Premium, allowing students and researchers to create and publish high-quality scientific illustrations.

Undergraduate Subscription: Cannot publish in journals.

Postdoc Subscription: Cannot publish in textbooks without an upgrade.

  • Can I publish in a textbook with the Student Plan?

For textbooks, if your work will be published for non-profit use, you are allowed up to 5 figures.
