What are custom icon requests? (👑 Premium Only)

If you're working on an illustration and need an icon that's not yet in our library, you can request it directly from BioRender.

This feature is available for Industry Team and Enterprise Plans. You can browse plans here.

You can request a custom icon from the Canvas:

1. Open any illustration to open the canvas.
2. Using the search bar, try searching for your icon.
   
   1. Be sure to try a variety of terms, such as common name, scientific name, and synonyms.
3. If you don’t find the icon, click Request a Custom Icon located at the bottom of the icon library.
4. Fill out the Icon Request Form.
   
   1. To guarantee faster turnaround, fill out the form as concisely and accurately as possible.

5. Click Submit. You’ll receive a confirmation email letting you know your request has been received.

Once you've submitted your request, our Creative Team will review it and get back to you within 25-30 business days. We'll notify you via email once your requested icon has been added to our public library.

If you're looking for a new brush, simply request it through the same icon request form. We prioritize brush creation based on community feedback.
