We know what it is like being a Postdoctoral student, therefore we created our Postdoc subscription which gives you access to BioRender Premium at a discounted price to create stunning illustrations.

We've built this subscription for Postdocs working within:

  • Universities

  • Research Institutes

  • NGO/Government Non-Profits

When you use BioRender, you will have your own personal, unique login details, granting you access to your individual account. If you haven't created a free account yet, you can do so here! By purchasing a Postdoc subscription, you are securing a subscription for a single account, which can only be accessed by you.

The Postdoc subscription is offered in both Annual and Monthly billing cycles:

Annual: $225USD/year Monthly: $25USD/month

Note: Our Postdoc subscriptions are already heavily discounted and intended for Postdoc students paying out of pocket. If reimbursement via department is required, the discount cannot be offered.

Update your role by following the steps below.

  1. Click on your name in the top-right > Edit Profile & Settings.

  2. Scroll down to the About you section.

  3. Update your role and click save changes.

  • Can I purchase a subscription for one month?

Yes, you can purchase a BioRender subscription a month at a time! Check out this article for more information.

  • Can I change my billing cycle if I purchased the wrong one by accident?

If you have purchased the wrong billing cycle please reach out to our support team and we can resolve the issue for you.

  • Where can I publish my illustrations on this subscription?

On our paid academic subscriptions, you can publish BioRender figures in journals, and also use figures for educational purposes. This includes conference talks, lectures, academic websites, and lab websites.

  • Can I publish in a Textbook or book chapter with the Postdoc subscription?

Textbook publications will require an upgrade to the Academic Individual Monthly or Annual plan, Postdoc plans cannot be used for textbooks.

  • Can I get reimbursed or have my subscription covered by my institution?

As our Postdoc subscriptions are heavily discounted, it is meant to be for Postdocs who are purchasing out of pocket. This subscription is not eligible for reimbursement by your institution. If you are seeking reimbursement for your BioRender Subscription, we would like to direct you to our Academic Individual Plan.
