Making a Border/Frame

Borders are a great way to enhance clarity in your illustrations. They define and emphasize important elements, making it easier for others to understand complex information. Borders also give illustrations a polished, organized look.

Tip: Use borders to outline your illustration or specific icons.

  1. Select "Insert Shape" from the toolbar on your canvas

  2. Select the shape of the border (circle, square, rectangle etc.)

  3. Place the shape on top of the object you want to have a border around

  4. Select the fill color from the properties panel and click Transparent

  5. Select stroke color from the properties panel to change the color of the border

To change the border width, click on your border and select Border width on the left-hand side:

To change the border dash, click on your border and select Border dash on the left-hand side:
