To export your illustration with a transparent background, follow these simple steps.
Open the illustration that you want to export
Click Export in the top right menu
Select the Transparent background box
Click Export again
I have a premium subscription but why is my file not downloading with a transparent background?
If your file is not downloading with a transparent background please first double-check where you are opening the file. If you are directly opening your file in another app such as PowerPoint or opening it directly from your downloads folder on your desktop, you may see the background is grey or black instead. The dark background may be present when viewing the exported file, but should not be a part of the file itself when uploaded to a document. Please try inserting the file into another app such as PowerPoint.
I am copying and pasting my file into another program but it still doesn't have a transparent background. What should I do?
If you copy and paste the file into another program you may see the background is not transparent. Please try uploading or using the INSERT PICTURE function in apps like PowerPoint rather than copying and pasting it.
